Stepping Stones to Recovery

A Case Manager's Training Curriculum for Assisting Adults Who Are Homeless with Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income Applications.

Stepping Stones to Recovery provides:

• An in-depth, step by step explanation of the SSI/SSDI application and disability determination process
• Strategies for working with homeless persons with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders to access benefits
• A complete set of tools for case managers to achieve success on initial applications for those who are eligible
  

Training will be available directly to case managers or as a training of trainers.

ACTION Programs

A choice of two programs with or without continuing consultation services, designed to increase the capacity of communities to serve people with co-occurring disorders in contact with the justice system. These programs combine training and technical assistance to help set communities on a trajectory of change.
